In August 2025, the special Pokémon promo Pikachu 020/M-P made its debut in Japan, exclusively available through McDonald's Happy Meals for just three days: August 9th to 11th, 2025. Each pack included one Pikachu card (number 020/M-P) plus one random additional Japanese Pokémon card.

This limited-edition release was part of a promotional collaboration between McDonald’s and The Pokémon Company, making it a highly sought-after item among collectors and Pokémon enthusiasts alike.

A limited-edition Mew ex promo with new artwork will release in China to celebrate their 151 set. However, only 1,510 copies will be given away through lotteries.
