This May, I celebrated my birthday with a trip to Madrid, the capital city of Spain. It's a city brimming with culture and history. The city proper has a population of approximately 3.2 million people, while the larger metropolitan area, encompassing surrounding suburbs and municipalities, boasts a population of around 6.7 million people.
I spent my time in good company. There is so much to see, many great places to eat, and numerous parks to relax and explore. The city is filled with museums and cultural institutions. Besides all the spots I had marked before my vacation, the unplanned routes surprisingly turned out to be the nicest walks.
In this table I have summed up my top 3 favorite in the category including a Google Maps location link.
