Starting Freelance 01: Picking up freelancing, where I left of

For several years, I've embraced the life of a versatile freelancer, a journey filled with its share of highs and lows. Along the way, I've also engaged in conventional employment to meet my monthly expenses. However, this diversion consumed valuable time and energy, making it challenging to fully pursue my true passion: expressing creativity across various domains.

I forgot how much I enjoy creative pursuits like graphic design and videography. I found myself caught up in the rat race, which I initially tried to steer clear of. When my job ended and my contract was not renewed, I felt both stressed and relieved. It felt like a failure, but also like a new opportunity to follow the path I set out on when I began freelancing.

"I felt both stressed and relieved."

As we find ourselves in the midst of April, I know that my regular job will conclude at the beginning of July. That leaves me with roughly two months to reconnect with the mindset I had when I started my freelance adventure. I am motivated, but being motivated isn't the toughest challenge; the real struggle lies in sustaining that motivation. I plan to document my journey and outline my steps to evolve and thrive as a versatile freelancer in this creative branche.

If you relate to my situation and are intrigued to follow my journey, team up, collaborate, or have any questions, feel free to reach out. Regardless, I'm prepared to take charge of my life and aspirations, and I hope you are too.
