The Start of Digital Paradoxes

The beginning of my creative journey.

  1. 2012

    Education Allround DTP

    In 2012 I started my first graphic education on the "Grafisch Lyceum" in Utrecht.

  2. 2016

    The interest in Freelance

    Around 2016, I started working as a desktop publisher at the company where I had previously completed my internship. 

    After several years, I moved to Lisbon to step outside my comfort zone and explore a different path. While there, I continued developing my creativity through small projects, which inspired me to consider freelance graphic design.

  3. 2019

    Registration with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK)

    By 2019, I knew for certain that this was the direction I wanted to take. I registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and took the step towards officially starting my freelance career.

    Alongside graphic design, I also developed a passion for videography. Anything that allowed me to be creative captured my attention and sparked my interest.

  4. 2020

    The start

    In 2020, I officially started working as a freelancer and began putting myself out there as a graphic designer. As freelance projects were still limited at the time, I also took on other jobs alongside my creative work. I continued pursuing graphic design whenever I could, before, during and after work, using every opportunity to keep developing my skills and creativity.

  5. 2023

    Videography

    This was the year I really started focusing on video editing and videography, with video editing becoming a particular passion of mine. I am still developing my skills in both videography and editing today.

  6. 2024

    Allround Creative

    In 2024, I developed myself into an all round creative, working across different areas of graphic design and videography. It became the year I had hoped 2020 would be, and marked the true beginning of my creative career.
